The universe began as an unfathomably dense point, smaller than an atom, holding all matter, energy, and space. Then, in a fraction of a second, it began to expand, unleashing a cascade of energy that would ultimately form galaxies, stars, and planets. This moment, known as the Big Bang, set in motion the creation of everything we see and know. As the universe opened up, matter clumped together, light streamed across the void, and space itself stretched into infinity.
